Report Protection
The Report Protection feature allows MSSPs to enhance data confidentiality by securing generated reports with a password. This ensures that only authorized stakeholders, such as specific MSSP team members or customers can access sensitive findings from scans or assessments.
In the MSSP model, this is especially useful when sharing reports with different customers, as each report can be protected to maintain data privacy and prevent unauthorized access.
Enable Report Protection
Under Other, click on Report Protection
In the Report Settings section:
- Check or select the box to Enable Password for Report Protection.
Once enabled, a Report Setting field will appear.
- New Password – Set the password for accessing reports.
- Confirm Password – Re-enter the same password.
Save Setting to apply password protection
All generated reports will now require the set password before they can be viewed or downloaded, adding a secure layer of access control to your customer-facing reports.
