This tab displays different kinds of settings like User Settings, Group Settings which are further classified. Email Notification Settings, Website Settings, Report Protection, Add New Website, and List of Registered Websites will allow a user to perform actions or updates as required.

  • Click Settings drop down on the left navigation plane.

User Settings

  • Click User Settings on the left navigation plane. User setting.

Both Create User and Manage User pages contain similar tabs on the top as Users and Create New User. This means in Create User page Manage User functions can be done as well and vice vera.

Create User

There are four steps in Create New User page. By default, General tab opens.


  • Enter the information in the respective fields.

User NameEnter username for the new user.
First Name
Enter your first name.
Last NameEnter your last name.
Email AddressEnter your email ID.
StatusClick Status drop down and select Active option.
Time ZoneClick Time Zone drop down and select your time zone.


This field sets a boundary to a user by assigning the right set of roles.

  • Click Roles drop down, click to select any user role as per your convinience.

Parameter Description
CustomThis option helps you to choose random roles for a user.
Global AdministratorThis option assigns all the existing roles to a user. 
Malware Monitoring AdminitratorRoles associated with malware monitoring are assigned.
Application Audit AdminitratorRoles associated with application audit are assigned.
Vulnerability Assessement Adminitrator Roles associated with vulnerability assessment are assigned.

Site Access

The access permissions to a website for the new user is assigned using this field.

To assign websites under an IP address,

  • Click Add button adjacent to the IP address, to assign all the sites under that IP address.

  • Click Application Audit and/or Malware Monitoring, Click Add button adjacent to IP Addresses to include them in active Site Access.  
  • Click "+" symbol of any IP Address, the website under the IP address are displayed.

  • Click Add button to add either one of the websites.

Group Access

The accessability of any no. of groups is allocated from Group Access setting.

Avoid this step if there are no groups existing. Click Save button to Add the new user.
  • Click "+" symbol of group to view the websites in the group before adding.
  • Click Add button adjacent to the groups to enable access and clik Save button.

With a Succesful entry, a Success pop up appears displaying User Created Sucessfully. Click OK button to close the pop up.

 Manage Users

The user General details like Username, Email ID etc., are displayed along with Edit and Delete options.

Change Password

  • Enter Current Password, New Password, and re-enter the new password in Confirm New Password field.
  • Click Change Password button to successfully change or click Cancel button to stop.

Group Settings

  • Click Group Settings and sub options like  Create Group and Manage Group are displayed.

Create Group

  • Enter the Group name, description and click Next button to proceed. Group Site option will appear.
All the sites under specific group are given as per selection.
  • Click ADD button to add IPs or URLs to the new group from Vulnerability Assessment, Application Audit, Malware Monitoring.

Manage Groups

Group information like Group Name, Description, and Action are displayed. 
  • Click Edit button to update the general group settings like group name, description and click Next to view Group Site.
  • Click REMOVE button for those sites in different groups that you wish to delete and click Save button.

Email Notification Settings

  • In the left navigation plane, click Email Notification Settings. Email settings page appears.
All the websites present and their status on alerts, Notification Condition, Notification Email,and Action to edit the settings.

  • Click Edit option in the action column. Edit pop up page appears.
  • Click on respective options to update any settings and click Save button.

Add Email Notification

  • Click to Add Email Notification and Email Settings pop up opens. Fill up the respective fields and click Save button.
WebsiteSelect any website from the website drop down.
Scan TypeSelect scan type to send email notifications.
Notification ConditionSelect the severity of the email notification condition.
Notification EmailEnter the email ID to which the notifications need to be sent.

Delete Notification

  • Select a website or a notification, click on top to delete a notification and click OK button on the confirmation dialog box.

Website Settings

  • Click Select Website drop down, select a website and click Go button for the website that needs setting changes.
List of Website settings are displayed with a brief description of each setting.
  • Click on specific setting to view further details of it.

Daily Scan Schedule

The first option provided in the website settings list is Daily Scan Summary which provides the summary of scans performed by selecting the specific scan from the list of scans performed.

  • Click scan time drop down and click any time for any one of the scan type and then click Save Scheduled Scan Time button.

Success dialogue box appears with Scan Schedule time changed successfully displayed.

Secure Seal Code

  • Click Secure Seal code on the left navigation place and a saved code below the description is displayed.
Paste the secure code in this text box to gain the trust from the customer.

Schedule Future Scan

  • Click Schedule Future Scan option on the left navigation plane, Malware Monitoring Schedule Scan is displayed by default.
  • Click Scan On option, select date from the displayed calendar. 
  • Click Time drop down, select the scan timing and click Schedule Scan button.
  • Click Application AuditVulnerability Assessment tabs and schedule scan time for the same.

Existing scan details like Sr No, Schedule Time, Date, Status, Create Date, and Action.

Future Scan Calendar

This option will help you to view the schedule for the scans to be performed in the future.  All the dates that display green circle are the dates which have auto scan scheduled.

  • Click Future Scan Calendar option on the left navigation plane to view the scan schedules.

On Demand Scan

This option is used when you need to perform a scan immediately with start and stop options.

  • Click On Demand Scan on the left navigation plane to perform the start and stop scan on demand.
  • Click Start button of any one or three of the scan types to start an on demand scan and click Stop button to end the scan. 
As Malware Monitoring has only 5 to 15 minutes of scan, Stop Scan option is not given.

Show External Malware URL

This will allow all the external URL alerts depending on how you want to use the alerts by enabling it or can be disabled.
After selecting enable option, Auto Whitelist External Alerts option appears.

  • Click Enable option for Whitelist URL and click Save button for enable whitelist url and enable external url.

URL Whitelisting

  • Click Whitelisted URLs  button to view list of whitelisted urls.

Report Protection

  • Click Enable option to protect your report with a password.
  • Click New Password field, create a password and re-enter the password in Confirm Password option.
  • Click Save Settings button.

Add New Website

  • Click Add New Website option of Settings tab in the left navigation plane . Add New Website pop up appears.
Three scan types are given in the top either to select one or more and by doing so scanner specific options can be viewed respectively. License Information contains the number of licenses present along with the names.
  • Click any one of the licenses given under which you want to add the new website.
An error message is displayed when a user submits without selecting  any service.

Application Audit

  • Click Application Audit option, enter the required details and then click Submit button.
URLEnter the URL of the website.
Customer Asset IDEnter your customer asset ID.
Scan Time SlotClick Scan Time Slot drop down and select any specific slot.
License InformationClick any one of the license from existing licenses from the list.

Success message is displayed after creating a website.

Malware Monitoring

  • Click Malware Monitoring option, enter the required details and then click Submit button.
URLEnter the URL of the website.
Customer Asset IDEnter your customer asset ID.
Scan Time SlotClick Scan Time Slot drop down and select any specific slot.
License InformationClick any one of the license from existing licenses from the list.

Success message is displayed after creating a website.

Vulnerability Assessment

  • Click Vulnerability Assessment option, enter the required details and then click Submit button.
IP AddressEnter the IP Address of the website.
Scan Time SlotClick Scan Time Slot drop down and select any specific slot.
License InformationClick any one of the license from existing licenses from the list.

Success message is displayed after creating a website.

If the new website needs two or more scanning services (Malware Monitoring, Application Audit, and Vulnerability assessment), URL and Customer Asset ID need to be entered only once for both Malware Monitoring and Application Audit.

For Vulnerability Assessment IP Address need to be provided and for all the services Scan Slot Time should be mentioned.

List Of Registered Websites

The websites registered for scan services are listed in here as URI of the website and all three scan services mentioning Yes if the service is active or No if the service is not requested.

  • Click Download CSV button to download the report in CSV format.
