Prerequisites for OVF, SaaS, Marketplace, and BYOL deployments

OVF Deployment

 Prerequisites for OVF deployment are as follows:

S.No Elements Description Details
1 WAF OVF Image* - Deployment dependent
 1 or 2 Appliance (1 WAF)
               Or
3 or 4 Appliances (2 WAF)
     

Information required for each appliance:

  • IP Address
  • Network Mask
  • Gateway IP Address
  • Name Server
 To receive latest WAF OVF file and the login credentials, please contact Indusface support at support@indusface.com
2 System requirement for each OVF Image
 System Requirement
  • Hard Disk Space - 100GB
  • RAM – 4GB
  • CPU – Minimum 4 core
  • Network Adapter - Bridged
 NA
3 SSL Certificate (For HTTPS Traffic only)
 3 Files to install SSL Certificate:
  • Server Certificate in .crt format
  • Respective Server Certificate Key in .key format
  • Respective Chain Certificate in .crt format
Note: No password should be kept in the SSL Keys
 Example:
  • testexample.com.crt
  • testexample.com-server.key
  • testexample.com-chain.crt
 Where ‘testexample.com’ is the configured domain/website

SaaS Deployment

Prerequisites of SaaS deployment are as follows:

S. NO Elements Description
1 FQDN Fully Qualified Domain Name ( hostname and domain name ) 
2 IP address of Website or CNAME of your load balancer
 To forward the IP address to whitelist (IGScan, IGP, WAF NAT IP)
3 Customer details
 Name, Email Address, Phone Number, SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for credentials and POC (Proof Of Concept) execution

BYOL Deployment

Prerequisites of BYOL Deployment:

S.No Elements Description
1 FQDN
 Full Qualified Domain Name ( hostname and domain name )
2 IP address of Website or CNAME of your load balancer
 To forward the IP address to whitelist (IGScan, IGP, WAF NAT IP)
3 Customer details
 Name, Email Address, Phone Number, SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for credentials and POC (Proof Of concept) execution
4 Peak bandwidth details
 It is required to choose the right instance type
5 SPOC
 SPOC should have permissions to launch MP instances using their account
6 SSL certificates
 SSL certificates and configuration on ELB or EC2 instance should be available to the SPOC

Marketplace Deployment

Prerequisites of Marketplace Deployment:

1 FQDN Full Qualified Domain Name ( hostname and domain name )
2 IP address of Website or CNAME of your load balancer
 To forward the IP address to whitelist (IGScan, IGP, WAF NAT IP)
3 Customer details
