Configure Total Application Security
- Enter your Public IP Address as "<Public IP>:8080" in the browser to attain Indusface TAS Domain Registration page.
- Click Domain Name field, enter your domain name, click Forwarding Address Of Website field and usually IP address is generated. If not pre-generated, enter your Web Application IP Address and the click Next button.
For HTTPS Website
- Click to select HTTPS option as incoming traffic, either one of the options from outgoing traffic and then click Next button. SSL Certificates page appears.
- Click Skip button to upload certificates after the registration.
Otherwise, enter the certificates in the respective fields and click Submit. Indusface WAF Status page appears.
Parameter | Description |
Private Key | Copy your Private Key into any text editor(for eg: Notepad) and paste it from the editor to Private Key field. |
Public Key | Copy your Public certificate into any text editor(for eg: Notepad) and paste it from the editor to this field. |
Chain Certificate | Copy your Chain certificate into any text editor(for eg: Notepad) and paste it from the editor to this field. While updating multiple chain certificates, paste one below another with a line gap. |
Private Key Passphrase | This is an optional field. Click to enter your unique password for private key. |
With successful certificate upload Indusface Total Application Security - WAF Status page appears. SSL Configuration Status is enabled and Routing Configuration is disabled if not configured.
In case, SSL certificates upload is been skipped, both the Configuration Status is disabled. In order to avail Indusface services to Detect, Protect, and Monitor your application security, configuration need to be done.
Refresh the Indusface TAS - WAF Status page and Configuration Status turns green if the Routing and SSL changes were successful.
If an attack is performed on a website, the Last Attack column displays date and time of attack encountered.
- Click to view the website logs.
Click Edit icon to change the domain details in the TAS Domain Registration page if required.
Your domain is now configured with Total Application Security – Web Application Firewall AMI.
- Click Click here link to register with Indusface Web Application Firewall.
For HTTP Website
- Click HTTP option as WAF incoming traffic, either one of the options as outgoing traffic and then click Submit. Indusface TAS - WAF Status page appears.
- If Routing Configuration is pending, error symbol is displayed. In order to avail Indusface services to Detect, Protect, and Monitor your application security, configuration need to be done.
Refresh the Indusface TAS - WAF Status page, Configuration Status turns green if the Routing Configuration was successful.
Last Attack column displays the date and time of the attack encountered.
